Gather the Ghouls: Halloween Activities in Chantilly With Friends at Monster Mini Golf
Group chat buzzing with “what are we doing for Halloween?” Settle it with Halloween activities in Chantilly that actually get everyone off the couch. Monster Mini Golf® Chantilly turns a friend group into rival teams with glow golf, laser tag, a laser maze, VR and mini bowling under one roof.
Whether your crew is a handful of coworkers, a college reunion or the same friends you have been trick-or-treating with since grade school, a night of friendly competition in a glowing, monster-filled world is a pretty great way to celebrate spooky season in western Fairfax County.
Why Monster Mini Golf Is Made for Friend Groups
Most Halloween plans ask your group to stand in line and watch. Monster Mini Golf asks you to play. Every attraction is built for head-to-head competition or team play, which means the stories, inside jokes and trash talk start on the first hole and carry on for weeks.
It also solves the classic group problem: not everyone likes the same things. The competitive friend can chase high scores, the laid-back friend can enjoy the glowing scenery and the gamer friend can disappear into virtual reality. Everyone is still in the same building, having fun together, which is rare among Halloween activities in Chantilly.
And unlike a one-night haunted attraction, it is available throughout October, so your group can pick the date that works instead of the date everyone else picked. That flexibility makes it one of the easiest Halloween activities in Chantilly to organize.
Halloween Activities in Chantilly for Every Kind of Crew
Every group has its own personality. Here are a few Halloween things to do with friends in Chantilly, matched to the kind of crew you roll with.
The Competitive Crew
If your friends turn everything into a tournament, start with 18 holes of glow golf, then move to laser tag for a team rematch and finish in the laser maze, where every second counts. Keep a running scoreboard across all three and crown a champion of spooky season.
The Casual Hangout
Not every outing needs a bracket. Play a relaxed round of mini golf, wander the arcade for classic pinball machines and the latest interactive video games, then pool your tickets at the redemption counter. It is easygoing, festive and low-pressure.
The Costume Squad
Planning a group costume? Debut it under the black lights. Neon and white details glow on the course, and a matching crew of monsters, movie characters or classic ghouls makes for photos that will outlast the candy.
The Work Crew
Coworkers count as friends, too. Monster Mini Golf Chantilly hosts group events, and a Halloween team outing with mini golf and laser tag beats another conference-room potluck. It is one of the more memorable Halloween activities in Chantilly for teams looking to blow off a little steam.

Mini Bowling and More

Build a Full Fairfax County Halloween Night
Fairfax County goes all-in on spooky season. Visit Fairfax’s Halloween events and activities guide covers everything from family-friendly trick-or-treating and parades to haunted history, so your group can pick a second stop before or after glow golf.
A popular combo is dinner, a round at Monster Mini Golf and a local Halloween event later in the week. Spread across October, that gives your friends a full month of Halloween things to do with friends in Chantilly without repeating the same plan.
Turn One Night Into an October Rivalry
Some friend groups do a single Halloween outing. Others turn it into a season-long rivalry. Schedule a rematch every week or two in October, rotate who picks the attraction and keep a shared scorecard in the group chat. By Halloween weekend, the final round decides everything.
It is a simple way to make your list of Halloween things to do with friends in Chantilly feel bigger than one evening. The glow golf scores, laser tag results and laser maze times all count, and the winner gets bragging rights until next October.
Mixing up the format keeps it fresh, too. One week can be a straight round of mini golf, the next a laser tag showdown and the next a VR challenge. With so many options, Monster Mini Golf offers some of the most replayable Halloween activities in Chantilly.
Tips for Planning a Group Night Out
Pick the date early, especially for weekends near Oct. 31. Send the group a quick poll, set a meeting time and decide in advance whether you are doing every attraction or just a few. Larger groups can split into smaller teams on the course and regroup at laser tag.
Agree on the stakes, too. Losing team buys the snacks, wears the silliest costume to the next party or plans the next outing. A little on the line makes Halloween activities in Chantilly more fun for everyone.
Before you go, check the location page for current hours, pricing and available attractions, since offerings can change around Halloween. Senior, military and student discounts are available.
More Ways to Celebrate in October
Got a birthday in the friend group this month? Monster Mini Golf Chantilly offers birthday parties, and schools and youth groups can book field trips. Combining a birthday with Halloween is a classic for a reason.
