2. Pin the Tail on the Donkey

A classic birthday party activity that kids love is Pin the Tail on the Donkey. You don’t have to stick with the traditional donkey, though. You can make this game unique and fun by printing out characters from your child’s favorite movie or show.

You’ll blindfold each child before they start and spin them around a couple of times. Kids will laugh hysterically as their friends miss the target and have a hard time getting to the wall.

3. Balloon Stomp

What makes the game fun is that there is always one less chair than kids playing. The person not sitting in a chair when the game stops must sit out until the next game. You have to be the DJ and start and stop the music randomly.

A fun and interactive game kids will love is decorating their own t-shirts! To set it up, give them some plain white T-shirts with fabric markers or non-toxic paint. Have a decorating station table with patches, glitter, and stencils they can add to the shirt to make it more exciting.

9. Musical Statues

Just like Duck, Duck, Goose, Musical Statues is an interactive game that gets kids moving. It’s exciting and fun, and kids listen to their favorite music. To play, turn on the birthday kid’s favorite song and let the kids dance around. When the music stops, everybody must freeze in place without moving.

Anyone who moves while the music is off is out until only one kid statue remains. Kids will giggle and laugh when a kid doesn’t stop moving, or someone falls while trying to hold their frozen position.
