1. Know the Game

What is mini bowling? It’s like traditional bowling, except mini bowling features smaller bowling balls, pins, and lanes.

You aim to knock down as many pins as possible in each frame. Since mini bowling features a shorter lane, you won’t have to send the ball as far to hit the pins.

2. Know the Rules

The usual bowling rules apply to mini bowling. Standard rules include the following:

  • You can’t go past the foul line when you’re bowling. You don’t get any points for pins knocked down if you have a foul.
  • Scoring is similar: If you knock all ten pins down on the first try, it’s still a “strike.” If you knock all ten pins down in two shots, it’s still called a “spare.”
  • If people are playing in the lane to your right, wait for them to deliver the ball before taking your turn

It’s a good idea to go over the rules before playing, especially if you’re playing with people who don’t know the game. This prevents confusion and helps you focus on enjoying the game and having a good time.

3. Know Where to Aim

Many people think you need to aim for the pins if you want to knock them down, but the best place to aim is just between the pins. Depending on whether you’re right- or left-handed, you’ll want to aim between the first pin and the nearest pin on the right or left side.

The best part? Our mini bowling offers bumpers that glow instead of gutters, so you never have to worry about a gutter ball!

4. Know How to Move

Sliding forward before you deliver the ball gives you momentum and helps you deliver the ball with enough force to reach the pins and knock them over. It takes a little practice, but your aim and score will improve once you learn to release while in motion.

5. Have Fun!

Mini bowling is a fun activity for people of all ages. It’s fantastic for younger children because the balls are smaller, making them easier to hold and deliver. Mini bowling is also excellent for people who want to enjoy a low-impact physical activity. Most of all, it’s a fantastic way to spend quality time with friends and family.
